| The newly formed Shut Out Baseball will be hosting 16U tryouts. Tryouts will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm at Prospect Park located at 10185 Braun Rd San Antonio, Tx 78254. Shut Out Baseball will be run by myself, Marc Reyna. I am a native of San Antonio and was a four year letter at Highland High School, earning all district honors, all city honors, and numerous awards. Following high school, I signed a Division II letter of intent committing to Texas A&M Kingsville. After one year there, I transferred to the University of Incarnate Word, where I finished off my college career. I have coached in San Antonio's select baseball community for the past eight years beginning with Lights Out Baseball Academy and later helping launch South Texas Heat Baseball Academy as Vice President of the academy. I have experienced the game at the highest level and I am fully committed to the development of ballplayers looking to take their game to the next level. Shut Out Baseball is not built around winning at all costs. I will use my experience as a tool in the coaching process. In addition, I am fully committed to developing a healthy interaction in the parent/player/coach relationship. Each player will have a primary as well as a secondary position that will both be developed throughout the season. Everyone is welcome to come tryout and experience what Shut Out Baseball has to offer.
