| TODAY is a VERY PROUD and HISTORIC DAY for HOLBROOK LITTLE LEAGUE!! For the FIRST time EVER in our 52 year history, we can say that we are represented in the MAJOR LEAGUES by one of our former PLAYERS!! ANTHONY RANAUDO, who was a HOLBROOK LL ALL-STAR and a member of our 2000 10 yr old DISTRICT 18 CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM, was PROMOTED to the BOSTON RED SOX from their MINOR AAA team. ANTHONY starred for St Rose in High School and went on to play for LSU, where he pitched the TIGERS to the 2009 COLLEGE WORLD SERIES, WINNING THE DECIDING GAME!!
ANTHONY will start on FRIDAY NIGHT against the NEW YORK YANKEES, up at FENWAY PARK!! We are so HAPPY & THRILLED for ANTHONY and his FAMILY!! And we know that whichever MAJOR LEAGUE TEAM that we might be fans of, TOMORROW NIGHT WE ARE ALL PART OF RED SOX NATION!!! CONGRATULATIONS ANTHONY & GOOD LUCK ....WE ARE VERY PROUD OF YOU , AND PROUD TO CALL YOU A HOLBROOK LL ALUMNI!! GO SAWX!!
