| What a great 1st weekend.
Some observations:
*Capitals mashed and outscored opponents 33-3. WOW
*Minnetonka looks the same team and wins a big game over the Lakers who I picked to win.
*Diamond Cutters who had a great regular season and the pitching to compete laid a huge egg.
I guess the skyline still can not be taken seriously as Stockmens is rebuilding.
Final Weekend predictions:
Capitals 7 vs Minnetonka 6 (Game of the tournament)
Park 6 vs Pub 4
Lakers 7 vs Rooster 3
Lakers 9 vs Park 5
Lakers 5 vs Minnetonka 4

| RV99 you predictions are just awful.....your saying a team is going to win (4) 9 inning baseball games in 3 days?! no team has the pitching and the Lakers are not the best hitting team left in the tournament. NOT EVEN CLOSE. If anything I see them making it to the last Saturday game where they run out of steam.
Tonka v Capitals for the Championship Sunday almost a toss up. Im giving it to the team that holds the advantage of winning on Saturday.
My prediction.....you will know after saturday.

That is why they are fun predictions. I believe the Lakers have the deepest and best pitching staff that is why I can see them winning 4 games in 3 days. They are built for this kind of run. 4 quality starting pitchers. I never said they had the best hitting team either.
Way to be bold on your predictions on waiting till Saturday.

| While I agree the Lakers have the pitching to have a chance, they really have a tough mountain to climb....game at 8pm Friday, game at 12pm & 6pm Saturday! Thats a lot of innings for a team that plays mostly 7 inning ball games. I just don't think they stand much of a shot but lets hope they prove one of us wrong.
My gut feeling is that Tonka stands the best chance to win this year. They have players that have been in this situation before and they smell that title is with-in arm's reach. Tonka has struggled recently with the Lakers recently and beating them in a close games shows they have what it takes.
I don't think the Capitals saw pitching like they will against Tonka. Im going to go out on a limb and say Capitals will not score 10+ runs against Tonka.
Does anyone know (head 2 head) Tonka v Capitals record?
The 3pm game will tell us a lot as the two best teams are set to face off with one another. I saw on the Capitals site that they have a guy who is 12-0 with a sub 1 era and 100 some K's. I don't know who Tonka throws but in a close game between the two I'm going with experience: Tonka 6 Capitals 3
Capitals battle back against whomever to make it to Sunday.....My prediction: Wait until after Saturday

| Minnetonka is always the favorite.
You stated nothing out of the obvious.
I was having fun in making the loser bracket guesses as well. You did not?
Anybody but Minnetonka will be a win for me, but i am rooting for the Lakers. If they do not get at least back to the championship game it will be a huge dissapointment with the team they have.
