| As all of the returning teams know, I only take the TOP 12 teams (record wise) for the playoffs. This year we have 13 teams in the league and with the rainouts, not all league games were able to be played before this weekend's playoff tournament, so since Mallingers nor Dom's Pizza was able to clinch the 12th and final playoff spot, I made the decision to accept ALL 13 teams into the double elimination playoff tournament.
This means that I will have 24-25 games scheduled on Saturday! (The league pays for the balls, the league pays ump fees for all games.)
ALL teams need to be ready to play at scheduled start times. I will post rules in a separate post, but teams need to be at the field 30 minutes before their scheduled game time, in the event the tournament is running ahead of schedule. (forfeits, mercy run rule, etc...)
The EXCEPTION, is the 7:30am games, obviously, there's no need to show up 30 minutes early for this, you just need to be ready to play at 7:30am. There IS NO 15 minute grace time, like the regular season. This game sets the tone and with 23 games to follow them, you cannot start late.
