| I'd like to start by saying "thanks" to the 13 teams that participated in the league this season. It helped a bit, by having the odd number teams, because several teams had requested a certain "bye week" if we had to have one, so that probably made less rescheduled games for non weather related issues.
Regarding the weather, it was a very trying year for me personally, and I'm sure just about all of you were getting tired of it as well. This has been a year like no other, for me running the league anyways. 13 teams for the 1-day tournament/playoffs doesn't work, but with the rain and not being able to get all the scheduled games played, I felt it was the fairest thing to do given the circumstances. Now...... that said, I'll be honest, it really pissed me off that nobody from Dom's Pizza contacted me to let me know that you weren't coming. Ugly Dog who was ready to play at 7:30am wasted their time. Me scheduling a 13 team bracket with figuring out times, was a waste of my time. Not to mention that the league pays for playoff umpires and Dom's Pizza made the league spend money on 2 games that didn't happen. So, you can see, there's a lot of things that can be effected when a team simply doesn't show up. It's more than just not wasting YOUR time...... there's a cause and effect that you might not actually think about.
For anything, especially this league, it requires teamwork and cooperation. I didn't have to chase down teams from a particular game all that much, to get scores and allow me to post them on the website keeping it as updated as possible. Thank you.
Thanks to the teams that were able to play on the "holiday" weekends. Trying to get games in on those breaks are important, as we saw this year, with all the rain, you can't always think you will just use the "make up" week, coz then we have what we did this season.
Competition throughout the entire league has increased with more teams being able to beat each other. It makes the league more fun not only playing against them, but when trying to gain or make separation on teams w/in your division, there's not many "gimme" games.

Joe / Pat - Thanks for getting the East McKeesport Field permit this year and the necessary work needed to get the field in shape and keeping it that way. Also, thanks for checking on and letting me know when the field was available for back to back doubleheaders for when make ups were necessary and for moving games to Crestas and getting the games in. That was a big help.
Division 2:
In lieu of playing out the remaining games, all 3 teams (A-Team, Dunning's Grill and Pisci's) have decided to divide the 2nd & 3rd place division money equally. It's not the finish that anybody really wants, but given the circumstances, it was an amicable decision.
I know this is a rather long post, but I truely do appreciate all the cooperation that I get and have gotten this year from everybody. I hope all teams enjoyed it again and for the 1st year teams, I hope you enjoyed it to return next season. If you came from a different league last year, I hope that I convinced you that this is a good league and one that I hold with high integrity.
Everybody have a safe offseason and I'll be in contact with all the teams after we enter the new year.
