| Have all of the fall ball teams been selected? If so...when can we expect to hear from the coaches? It is now Wednesday and the first games are Saturday! I have heard of cutting it close but this borders on ridiculous!

| There was a message posted explains about the schedules and teams. As in the past we want to give every child an opportunity to be able to play and that means accepting registrations until the last minute. You have to keep in mind that the VOLUNTEERS that handle all the behind the scenes have families and careers, so unfortunately a lot of things have to be done at night which only allows so much time. Also includined in that are the wonderful mgrs and coaches are dealing with add ons after teams were formed and children being moved from division to division. This all takes time. There will be Board Member Elections in October if the urge strikes you to join the hard working under appreciated group.

| Rather than being nasty and condescending you could have simply referred me to a previous post that I may have missed. Just an FYI...I am usually one of those VOLUNTEERS and have been for the last 2 years...it just happens that this fall I have a number of other obligations that keep me from coaching this fall. As for giving every kid an opportunity...it is not like fall ball is a surprise! New players can be added as they sign up. How many "final" registrations are you going to have?

| Tony, once again you have managed to insult and belittle another parent in this league. Annie’s reply was more than sufficient in response to their inquiry about schedules, so why did you feel the need to add a comment like you did? I have dealt with Annie over the last two years and I’m sure that her intent was not to insult that parent or challenge them in anyway. Everyone is aware that we ALL volunteer our time to coach, manage, or in your case, run this league in some capacity or another. While you may feel under appreciated and disrespected by some questions or concerns, please remember that everyone pays their fees, sells their raffle tickets, honors their work bond and supports the league to the best they can. A simple question about receiving a schedule three days before the start of the season is not an unreasonable request. We have families and jobs as well. We would like plan our fall with doctor’s appointments, meetings at work and other activities, so a schedule would be quite helpful in making those arrangements. People join this league so that their children have the opportunity to play baseball/softball and enjoy the game the way we did when we were children. I don’t think it is unreasonable to have an expectation of professionalism from the president of the league. Quite frankly, you are doing a disservice to the other hard working people on the board that treat us fairly and listen to us when we have questions. Rather than be defensive and hurl insults, why not listen to what some of us have to say. I recall a very similar question about schedules in the spring and your reply to that parent was very negative as well, but here we are we are again. It is now two days before the start of the season, and we still have no clue when our game is on Saturday, or if we even have one at all. I have had many positive interactions with other members on the board, but I wish I could say the same was true with you. I am not trying to attack you and can keep an open mind since I don’t really know you, but this seems to be the only way that you know how to communicate. I would suggest that you work on the schedule rather than checking out the message board for your next confrontation. While it might not seem it, I (and I’m sure many others) do appreciate the time that you and the other members put in to the league to ensure that our children have an opportunity to play, but we as parents and volunteers would like to be treated with a certain amount of respect and courtesy as well. Thank you and good luck with the season.

| Gee I guesss the LOL wasn't understood..Tom & Moose, since I don't know who you are, I won't debate you on a public forum, especially on a day as solemn as today. You obviously know who I am and are unhappy with me, I can live with that. Anytime you want to have a personal conversation I promise to give you the courtesy you expect, as long as its reciprocated. Otherwise if you are a volunteer, do your job and let me and the Board do ours. Hope that isn't condescending or sarcastic and if it is, please tell me why I can be treated with disrespect but god forbid I give it back?? You don't know me,or what I do for this League and I don't need or want a pat on the back, but I will always demand respect. Period
