| I received complaints from the Park Dept. about our league leaving the field littered with trash on the sidelines. Using these fields is a privilege not a rite. It is YOUR responsibilty to clean your sideline before you leave. The P.V.T.F.L. has developed a positive relationship with the Park and Rec. Depts. in Holyoke, Ludlow and Spfld.
Please don't be the team that is the reason that I get another call about this issue (only the 2nd complaint in 17 yrs). This league is bigger than any one team. I will not hesitate to remove any team that is the reason I receive another trash complaint.
ALSO... As the season moves along I just want to remind everyone some important rules/ policies to keep in mind.
1. ALWAYS bring rule book to your games
2. Have your team ready to play at the scheduled game time. Refs have the right to assign a forfeit to any team without 8 players at kickoff time.
3. FIGHTING IS NOT ALLOWED... Any players fighting will be reported by the referee and as a result be suspended for the season. We have a zero tolerance for fighting in the PVTFL.
