| Possible that 18u White and Red teams will be playing in Philipsburg (2 fields at the high school) again for the USSSA tournament.
14u probably at Hess Fields near Boalsburg.
Continue to watch for updates.

| It has been CONFIRMED that Philipsburg will be the location for the 2014 18u Pumpkin Smash.
They will be using 3 fields: the P-O varsity and JV fields, and a field down off Rt. 322 near the YMCA and P-O football field.
Parking WILL NOT be permitted on the hill behind the school during this tournament, and the access gate will supposedly be locked. This is because someone from Philipsburg ran their vehicle over the steel shotput block and damaged it. So that means a very long walk up the hill to the JV field, and limited parking for 14 teams near the varsity field.
USSSA has not released the game schedules yet.

| 18u teams - with tournament being in Philipsburg, there are some players and family that will have a long distance trip. Because of the scheduling, some may be considering looking for a local place to stay.
Philipsburg has 2 local hotels, and they are older, average hotels.
The Harbor Inn is at the intersection of Rt. 53 and Rt. 322 right next door to Sheetz and close by to McDonalds, Pizza Hut, and a few other restaurants, grocery stores, and the shopping plaza. The posted rate is $55 per night, and this facility just had room renovations completed this past spring and summer. Supposedly new furniture, mattresses, etc. etc.
The Mainliner Motel is farther up Rt. 322 towards Woodland/Clearfield. About 2 miles from Harbor Inn. It is also $55 per night.
There MAY be a possibility that one of the 18u White parents may be able to negotiate a better deal for $33 per night because his company also uses these facilities.
Other than these 2 hotels, the closest "modern" hotels are located in Clearfield and the Pinecroft/Bellwood exit (#39) of I-99.

| 18u Tournament Information -
UNSURE WHERE THE 18u RAZORBACKS WILL BE SETTING UP "CAMP" JUST YET because of the closing of the parking area on the hill between the 2 fields.
HOWEVER, it has been proposed that the Razorbacks set up in front of the baseball field located on the backside of the high school. There is ample parking on pavement, and the baseball field can be used for practice / warm up.
Remember to bring chairs because there is no seating at the JV field.
