Yesterday, Sunday October 6, was Mandee Glass's (Glendale Vikings) final tournament as a member of the Razorback (White) team. Wearing #12, she has been with the team for 2 full seasons, and is an integral part of this team's legacy. Particularly in the team spirit department. Her voice and support for her teammates in the dugout will be deeply missed. Especially the "GIT-R-DONE!" call-out and all the cheers she created or helped to create.

Mandee is a very good bunter and a speed demon. Countless times she has gotten the bunt down and beaten the throw to first even with the defense set up to defend it. But there are a few times that I can think of (one being at the World Series in OCMD in 2013), it was her late-game heroics by the swinging of the bat for that needed RBI or using her speed to get home quick and score that won us the games in the Razorback's final at bat.

Probably the best memory was one of Mandee's first hits as a Razorback which occurred in a 16u tournament in Horseheads, NY. She blasted a ball to the fence in right center and as she rounded 1st slowing down to a gallop, she began swinging her arm around the top of her head in a lasso move - because she thought she had smacked a homerun - then hearing everyone yelling at her to run she realized that the ball did not clear the fence and pulled into 2nd safely. She could've probably tripled, but that would've meant no one would've witnessed the lasso move!!

You'll be missed, Mandee!! And so will Dee, Pip, and Amber. But you'll always have a home on this team and in our hearts!!

:)
