| I got a text from Pat (Hurricane Alley) even though they are not fielding a team in the league THIS year, it doesn't mean they won't be back next year, and he said the following. He and Joe C. are why we are able to use that field.
Please oblige by the following!
Pat said that, despite fielding a team this year, he will still attempt to drag this field every Sunday. (Thanks Pat!)
If weather becomes an issue, he will try to get over to the field early to see how the field is. THIS DOESN'T RELIEVE THE SCHEDULED HOME TEAM FROM CHECKING THE FIELD INCASE IT NEEDS CANCELED OR MOVED an hour before start time.
PLEASE DO NOT use any BROOMS or KITTY LITTER on this field. A SQUEEGEE/RAKE are OK TO USE. Sand is fine and there is a pile of dirt that is still there that can be used.
ALSO, please put the bases back in the field box and the caps back on the anchors.
Lastly, make sure the BIG GATE on the parking lot side is LOCKED when teams leave.
It's a nice field and cooperation is needed from each team that plays there to keep it available to us. Remember, you are only 1 team, but you can affect the entire league by not being responsible to the things mentioned above.
