Author TOPIC: Action Baseball 14 Freshman Program
Action Baseball 1

June 3, 2015
6:05:43 PM

Entry #: 4168848
Attention all 14 year olds who will be freshman

Action Baseball Club will be holding a two day tryout from 9am to 4 pm Monday the 8th and Tuesday the 9th. During this tryout you will be running thru the high school spring training practices and scrimmages that our current high school players go thru to get ready for the College Development summer season. During these two days the players will be evaluated to be placed on a 14 year old team of incoming freshman recognized for their skill set and ability to compete. These spots will be limited to one or two teams dependent upon the make up of teams. We will not have a second team if we feel the second team may not have enough players who are ready for that level of play. These teams will follow the 15 Year old Action Baseball Schedule playing in 15/16 year old showcase type round robins and tournaments. You will be playing against incoming sophomores and some Juniors. (That schedule will closely follow the 15 Action Silver schedule.)

Again the player will be evaluated over two days this is not a single day tryout. It is a twelve hour evaluation of scrimmages, work outs, fielding, hitting and current knowledge of the game. Also because these teams will intermingle with current high school players in our program we will also be looking for a mature approach to the game and practices. This is the first time Action Baseball Club will be bringing 14 year olds (must be incoming freshman) into the Summer High School Program. If selected for this team(s) the players will practice along with the rest of the high school teams in our program getting the same benefits with a quality staff and instruction. If you feel your son is one of these players please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. We would prefer a pre-registration prior to start of the Spring Training Camp (tryout). Again this will be a highly competitive team(s) which is why teams will be limited.
