| In one of the most exciting games of the All-Star season, our Baseball 12's lost a heartbreaker to our old nemesis Toms River, 9-8. An early homerun by Daniel Keenan put Holbrook up 4-1 before TR came storming back and took an 8-4 lead. A Jacob Tafrow 3 run homer made the game 8-7 as Sebastian Marc shut the door on TR to keep it close. Down 9-7 in the top 6th, a bases loaded 2 out single to left by Keenan looked like the game would be tied but a strong throw from the leftfielder and a nice catch and tag by the catcher nailed Sean Yurgel at the plate to end the game!! Shades of games against TR past!! But our boys will be back on Thursday against Berkeley and will get another shot at TR or Jackson before this is all over. Heads high boys!! Very proud of you!!
