| The next couple of week will be tremendous, six teams fighting for the last two spots on the championship round. M.J. Connell may also have a shot. Five of those seven will not be playing with the big boys.
A few games left for these six to fight it out Crupi, Union, Ed's, Starks< Pools and Beaver.
Every pitch will count.

| Unfortunatly Starks has 16 pts with 2 games remaining, awesome bunch of guys and a solid team with a bright future. But doesn't look like they can make it. So you can cut that list down to 5 teams. Crupi leads that pack and gains the highest seed out of those teams mentioned.

Many people like to talk about how sport is such a wonderful vehicle to both teach us important life skills and bring out the very best in us as competitors and human beings, even in beer leagues. There’s no question that sport both inspires us and provides us with opportunities to push the envelope on human potential. Athletic competition (pass your prime) stimulates us to overcome impossible obstacles, maintain a never-say-die attitude, sacrifice our own needs for the overall good of the team, demonstrate grace under pressure, believe in ourselves no matter what, display courage and heroism in overcoming our fears, be a good sport in both victory and defeat, and play fair are attributes that define the USPL. In these ways competing in and watching sports makes us better as an athlete and a person. Sports competition allows us to feel good about ourselves. It’s uplifting and inspirational, and gives us a reason to feel hopeful about and proud of the human condition. Enjoy each other on and off the field during the playoffs.

| Well said Faux - no faux pas there.
I've always had a concern that the kids are receiving less "team involvement" in the schools - with the supposed strain on teachers time. It seems the "team involvement" has been put on the parents shoulders - so if you want to help the kids - help with a sports team.
