| OK, so let’s see our budget for sale of new Maple Leaf sweaters in 2016 is 20,000 - 225 were thrown on the ice in 2015 - 300 were burnt in effigy in 2015 - 125 ticket holders died and were buried with their sweaters on - 175 fans moved to the UK – so will be buying soccer sweaters - 200 moved to a new homes and can’t find their sweaters in the moving boxes.
I think we have a shortfall - and better design a “new” logo. How about a couple of new veins on the leaf and a “butt” at the bottom for the butt heads that will buy these sweaters That should do.

That way the stupid Leaf fans will have eternal hope that they are getting better and are real close to actually winning a game – or heaven forbid - making the playoffs.
And don't say i'm negative - just realistic. I've waited for 49 years - which probably is longer than most of the players in the league have been alive.

| It’s easy to criticize after the fact but here goes.
Kadri’s check was not only dirty but will be his downfall with the leafs. His actions were ridiculous and self-centered (all about himself). Not only did he go nuts on his previous penalty (started banging the penalty box glass and basically crying that he had been erred) – but decided to throw a dirty hit in a later shift. I guess he felt this was his way of drawing attention to his insult – it did.
I have always wondered why he is interviewed so much after many games. Cause he wants to see himself on TV as the leader and the star on the team –(It’s all about him)
Did you ever wonder why this 8 year veteran with the leafs isn’t even an assistant captain? What do you think Babcock will think about this 27 year old baby? The supposed shut down veteran who is suppose to defend the other teams best line. He’s in line to become the next Dion Phaenuf . Trade Kadri and Nylander for Erik Karlsson.

| With due respect, this is just an awful, awful take.
Kadri's hit on Wingels was dumb. Like, REALLY dumb. It wasn't selfish though. The Bruins were running around and taking runs at the Leafs' skilled players all game. NO ONE was sticking up for anyone. But when Chara pasted Marner into the boards and Wingels followed it up with an elbow to his head, Kadri (yes, still steaming from the previous penalty) took a run at Wingels. Dumb, ill-advised, but he was looking out for his teammate and had had enough.
You direct all of your ire and frustration at the guy with all the passion but the dead-eye, spineless play by guys like JVR, Gardiner and Rielly gets off scott-free. Clearly because you just don't like Kadri to start with.
The Leafs know what they've got with Kadri and they accept the fact that, as a repeat offender and a guy who crosses the line every now and again, he will get suspended from time to time. But they also get a guy who has one of the best-value contracts in the NHL and is a proven producer who doesn't become a mouse in the playoffs. Kadri is not going any where, just like Brad Marchand is not getting traded from the Bruins.
Also, Karlsson is a UFA.

| With further due respect i believe my comments to be objective whether i like Kadri or not. As a matter of fact i don't like 1/3 of the leafs including the defense men you mentioned.
If Kadri was really "sticking up" for his teammates he would have dropped his gloves and taken the guy on not hit him from behind into the boards.
Any player (and fan) knows if you do anything construed as dirty you are going to get suspended (see most recently: Drew Doughty).
If he was really interested in his teammates he would have considered his actions. I dont think he got the note he's not the enforcer on the team (actually no one is). I guess he'll be able to help his teammates come the 5th game - right?

| The Leafs will win 4 straight games in the first round of the playoffs. Sweep for the bruins. I take no pleasure in saying so, I hate the Bruins.

| The series tied @ 2-2 is just fine with me. There is no doubt in my mind that the Maple leafs are the better team out there. Leafs in 7.

| Leafs crapping the bed as per usual. How do you lose the same way every year? The exact same way! Pathetic. Someone said Babcock was a good coach, I'm calling for him to exit.

| A guy is walking along, then he comes across a lamp partially buried in the sand. He picks up the lamp and gives it a rub. A genie appears and tells him he has been granted one wish. The guy thinks for a moment and says, "I want to live forever.” ”Sorry," said the genie, "I'm not allowed to grant eternal life." ”OK, then, I want to die after the Leafs win the Stanley cup.” "You crafty little devil," said the genie.
