| Want to make sure that everyone understands the extending the ball rule.... The referee's will mark the ball based on the tag and NOT where the ball is.....this INCLUDES extending the ball at the goal line.....If a player is tagged BEFORE he crosses the goal line but extends the ball....the ball WILL be marked at the spot where the tag is made....in other words.... extending the ball will no longer be recognized where the ball will be placed. Only where the tag is made.
