| "The North Dufferin Baseball League Executive extends condolences to the Gowan family on the death of Rick Gowan.
"Brother to Dan and Terry Gowan, uncle to Todd Gowan and Brad Grieveson; Rick played baseball with Lisle and Creemore clubs, winning championships with both, was a perennial all-star and won the 1979 batting title.
"Mr. Gowan formerly operated Gowan Printing Services which was the official print company of the League for a number of years."
