Missed the "elite" travel ball tryouts? Left out of Legion ball? Don't want to be on the road every weekend this summer? Can't afford the outrageous costs of "elite" travel ball? SICK of politics and daddy ball? Want reps, exposure and playing time? If you answered YES to these questions and you live in the Evansville, Owensboro, Henderson area... the Raiders might be your answer.

Seeking to fill 12-13 roster spots...ALL positions open. Pitching is a PLUS. Looking to fill 2 asst coaching spots as well.

We're offering:
• Summer Club Baseball of combined 16/17U Prep Players
• Great alternative to expensive "elite" Travel
• Small Roster (12-13 preferred for maximum playing time)
• 5 to 6 Quality Tournaments
• Low Costs (pay as you go for tourney's etc...all divided equally) average $35-$40 per player per tourney.
• Efficient "Pro-Style" short practices once per week
• Certified, experienced coaching (ABCA approved member instructor)
• Position specific instruction
• NO POLITICS. NO DRAMA.
• Geared for the serious prep player looking for reps, playing time and improvement
• Tourneys evenly spaced allowing summer activities besides baseball

Had a few emails w/questions...

IHSAA allows a maximum 5 players per club/travel team from a single high school team to participate. That includes players that participated in the prior/just ended season.

Practice/tourneys can begin after final elimination of the last player whose HS team is on a playoff run. Typically, beginning of June.

Evaluations:

All players trying out will be evaluated based on the universal 1-5 score system used by college/pro scouts. Scale: 1: below HS avg 2: HS avg 3: above HS avg 4: college avg 5: high college/pro

NOTE: ALL velocity measurements are recorded by Stalker Radar Gun.

Evals include:
Hitting...bat path, bat speed, power, exit velocity

Infield...actions, footwork, accuracy, range, infield velocity

Outfiled...actions, footwork, accuracy, range, outfield velocity

Catching...receiving, blocking, throw-down accuracy, velocity and POP time

Pitching...mechanics, command, athleticism, pitch velocity

All players will receive a written copy of their eval.
