| Holbrook Junior Baseball All-Stars win their second game 12-2 over Manchester today! Jacob Tafrow pitched a complete game for the win. The offense was lead by Jimmy Pica who singles & doubled and walked 3 times and had 4 RBI!! Jack Weiser was 3 for 5, Danny Keenan had 2 hits a 3 Runs scored, Carl Barth had 2 hits and scored 3 Runs. Lucas Strong had 2 runs scored and 1 hit. Tom Andrews also singled and scored. Defense was flawless and recorded all but 1 out.....
In their first game vs Toms River, our Juniors had another strong pitching performance. Daniel Keenan pitched a complete game, giving up only 5 hits while striking out 9. he helped his own cause with 2 hits and 2 Runs scored. Jimmy Pica reached base all 4 at bats including 2 hits.
Great job boys!! Next game, Tuesday 7/5 vs Toms River East American at Toms River East.....Stay hot Holbrook!!
