Southwest Elite Baseball Club powered by Marucci will have its fall 2016 season tryouts Saturday August 6th at Benbrook Ranch Park in Leander, TX.

Southwest Elite Baseball Club powered by Marucci has partnered with two of the most successful regionally grown baseball organizations in Texas and Louisiana.

Midwest Elite powered by Marucci started its program based out of the Norman, OK and Wichita Falls, TX areas just over two years ago and has seen exponential amounts of success over such a short period of time. Through ACTUAL player development processes, an organization wide ideology, and some of the richest relationships with collegiate coaches and other baseball entities throughout the state and country, Midwest Elite has turned into one of the biggest youth and high school showcase power programs in the region.

Marucci Sports is clearly one of the biggest providers of baseball equipment including wood/BBCOR bats and gloves in the country. With some of the biggest brand recognition in the professional and amateur baseball world, Southwest Elite Baseball Club is honored to have this new partnership with Marucci and their providing of full team uniforms, equipment, and support to help SWE become one of the best youth and high school baseball organizations in the Central Texas area.

Southwest Elite Baseball Club powered by Marucci Sports was founded in partnership with Tom Scholl of Midwest Elite Baseball Club to provide Central Texas with best possible program the area can provide.

Zac Senf, formerly with Frozen Ropes Baseball Academy of McKinney and most recently Banditos Baseball Club is widely regarded as one the top hitting instructors in the Central Texas region. With strong ties to college coaches and a former associate scout with the Tampa Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays, Senf will head the SWE program based out of Austin, TX. Partnering with Tom Scholl of Midwest Elite Baseball Club and his 20 years of scouting and player development experience will bring a top tier youth and high school showcase program to Austin and the surrounding areas. Senf and Scholl look to duplicate the same success with SWE that the MWE program has proven over the past few years.

Information on our program in its totality, our new indoor training facility, and fall and summer program will be addressed at our tryouts.

It is the SWE mission to create an environment for young athletes to achieve their dreams of playing college and professional baseball. We also believe that through the game of baseball we can help build character, and determination that will be an asset to our players not only for the game but for life.

Tryout Update! SWE is fortunate to announce two guest speakers at this weekend's tryout. A current Division 1/Big 12 Shortstop as well as area scout for the Washington Nationals will be in attendance to speak to SWE prospects about what the tryout process really says about a player, what an amateur player's purpose in playing the game should illustrate about the player as a person, and also give some useful tips and feedback from people performing their respective baseball roles from the highest of perspectives. Again:

Ages 8U-13U (12:00PM-2:00PM)
Ages 14U-18U (2:00PM-4:00PM)

Benbrook Ranch Park

Leander, TX 78641

Look forward to seeing some of the best Central Texas has to offer.
