| In order to produce the necessary quorum of thirty-three (33%) required for an Annual General Meeting, each team shall have at least five (5) players in attendance at the meeting. If the quorum is not reached, teams failing to have five (5) players present will be disbanded. The players present at the meeting from the disbanded team(s) will register in the Group "A" Draft for the following year provided they meet all necessary membership qualifications. Hit a home run
Walk off the diamond
Why does the hitter have to run the bases?

| The only thing you control, if you believe you control anything, is what you do right now. So if you happen to hit one, run the bases. The key word is RUN.

| No ties in games....
During the offseason .....Throwing very light during workouts to get the arm moving once or twice a week is much more effective to promoting recovery and enhancing perfomrance than doing nothing for several weeks. Unless you are recovering from an injury one of the worst things you can do is completely shutdown. I think the perpetuation of this myth of complete shutdown for several weeks is more about guys wanting a break from the grind than a desire for healthy, high level performance.

| A polynya is an open water area surrounded by sea ice.
The word was adapted in the 19th century to describe parts of the sea that could be navigated. Some polynyas occur at the same time each year, like the North Water Polynya between Canada and Greenland. Here, the walruses, narwhals and belugas can remain instead of migrating during the winter.

| Today is Betty White’s 95th birthday. This hilarious Golden Girls actress was born in Illinois - as Betty - not Elizabeth.
She has won six Emmy Awards and received the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award in 2009.
She’s a Guinness World Record Holder for the Longest TV Career for an Entertainer (Female) for her over 70 years in show business. At 88 years old, Betty became the oldest Saturday Night Live host.
She can hit better than most of our masters players.
