| I want to share with you some information on an event my family and I will be putting together. A Baseball Tournament as a fundraiser for medical expenses for my father Henry Vargas.
He was recently diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver and has had to quit his job. His health has quickly deteriorated and is now in need of a liver transplant. This has been a shock to our family because our father doesn't drink alcohol. Being a Christian man, and growing up in a Christian household, dealing with this issue has hit our family hard.
Doctors have encouraged my family to start fundraising for medical expenses. They have said the transplant process and medications needed for this process will be very expensive. Our plans are to have this tournament in the hopes that we can help alleviate my parents of solely having to pay for these expenses.
The plan is to have a 2 day Tournament. Feb. 18-19th
Charge $150 per team (each team responsible for ump fees)
A gate fee of $5 adult $2 for children
Hays Little League Fields

We will sale concessions and we will have raffle tickets for sale as well. The raffle will be held the last night of the tournament.
We will give a small trophy or shirt to 1st and 2nd place winners as a Thank You.
