| Hello Reading hockey league, my son is going to turn 14 next week and is very much interested in joining a youth league. He currently does not have any legal experience but in my opinion he possesses skill set that wouldn't make him a complete novice. That said he's a far away from being a huge contributor on a team. I do worry that other kids his age will be so far advanced that he will become disinterested. No one likes getting tooled when they're trying to learn. I guess my question would be how does it go for rookies at that age? Is it crazy competitive or the kids just want to have fun and learn? Nothing would make this retied dek hockey player more happy than to see his son in in a league. I'll check back and see if anybody chimes in. Thank you in advance for any advice or opinions you may have. Mike
