| As a new member to these forums (wasssssssup!!!) I felt the need to gather some knowledge from some seasoned vets or anyone who wants to add to the discussion. As a slo-pitch pitcher, I want to know what pitches cause you to foul/ be deceived/ or swing for something thats ultimately bad. I know, its slo-pitch, but there has to something that I can do!

| After a good BP session or tournament do you guys find yourself cleaning the ball marks off your bats? Why or why not? Curious who does out there or if I just have a problem ????

| I usually wipe mine down after a good game with a little multi purpose cleaner and a soft brush just to inspect for and deformities, webbing and or spiraling which may have occured. Also to see where I'm contacting the ball next time I got out so I can adjust if need be..

| I have buddy's out there who say its not good to wipe em down and the film left behind helps with contacting the ball, not sure the truth to that..

| Most efficient way I have found thus far to clean up the barrels have been the magic erasers by Mr Clean. I've tried soaps and WD40, and nothing like a good magic eraser scrub gets the barrel looking new again.

| Before you tell me to use the search function - I have...lol.
Haven't found a pair of cleats that match my criteria.
I've went through...I think 6 pairs of cleats in the last 3 years. I've had Boombah high cut turfs, Mizuno turfs, Nike (not sure), Rawlings (not sure), Boombah low cut turfs, and Worth turfs.
Still not satisfied, help.

| Not sure if "Hard Express"is serious re:running shoes - but i do know more guys are looking at running shoes to wear playing ball.
Shoes like Saucony "Run Anywhere" shoe are a great boot (better than the cheap Nike/Rawlings boots). and have amble treads for slopes/mountains/running on ice.
Check them out - they can be used for ball

| Here is an odd question. I have a tendency to tear quite a bit of skin on my shin or knee when I slide. I know part of the problem is the ball pants I have aren't the greatest quality. Usually buy eastons they tend to be cheap. So I have two questions. One is what pair of ball pants are good quality for the money spent and won't rip as easily so I don't tear up my shin. Two, what else do you guys wear so it doesn't happen to your shin and get a nasty wound from the orange dirt?

| Sliding pads avoid any scraps and bumps. Wear them on the lead sliding leg. Usually the Leigh's leg. Most stores sell them.

| Hey Xamer, not sure about your sliding technique? Pad should be on the leg bent under body (assuming butt down slide) Not the "lead sliding leg" which is extended to the bag. And, I'm not sure what a Leigh leg is - might be something the millenial generation has grown - boomers dont have one

| After not playing for 4 years due to several injuries starting in 2013, I'm giving it a shot this season and need a bat. Suggestions? In the past I liked a softer feel and won't be using it much so durability isn't an issue. Something soft, quick to break in and that swings nice is the criteria. In the past I swung a 26oz Averice and loved it.

| Softer feel...You might want to try Demarini. I think I just threw up in my mouth. I can't stand Demarini products but if you have a slower swing they are suppose to be good bats. Why not go back to the Avarice it tested higher then it should have out of the wrapper.

| Tucko - ya, if yp[u fill them in or go to the web to register. Come with the bat under the plastic wrapper. Let's see you got it in Sept (season ends in Sept) unless you were killing raccoons with it in the winter - you got a lemon. Let us know what it is so we can avoid.
