| Hello everyone,
I wanted to tell you about my plan to support cancer research this upcoming June, when I will be participating in the Ride to Conquer Cancer. I will be raising money to support cancer research, and making the 220 km bike ride from downtown Toronto to Niagara Falls. I know it won’t be easy, but I’m committed to ride for my friends & loved ones who have had to battle through a much tougher fight.
It seems that everyone has been touched by this terrible disease in some way. Personally, I will be riding for family members such as my younger brother Sean who had childhood leukemia, and my grandmother who had breast cancer. Raising money for cancer research is so important to our family some of you may know my dad’s history with the leukemia foundation as well.
Everyone participating in this ride is asked to raise $2,500. In order to do this and have some fun with it, I have donated two autographed Centennial Classic Auston Matthews jerseys (see attached images). With every donation made, you will receive a ticket into a draw for one of the jerseys. The raffle will commence in Niagara Falls and I will post on social media and also send an email to announce the winners.
I would love and appreciate your help in sponsoring my ride, both in supporting me making the long trip via bike, and also in hopes of winning a jersey signed by a great player for your office or kid’s bedroom!
The breakdown to purchase tickets is as follows:
$25- 1 ticket
$50- 2 tickets
$100- 4 tickets
$200+- 8 tickets
