| On Friday May 19th the Buckeye Valley football team will be volunteering for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Players and coaches will be leaving from the HS at 5pm. The Athletic Department has provided bus transportation for the event to and from the State House. The team will be assisting with the set up for the Race for the Cure. Players will:
Move tables to expo tents
- Move chairs to expo tents
- Move tables to Palooza
- Move chairs to Palooza
- Move all boxes of survivor bags to Palooza
- Set up signs in Palooza
- Unload registration truck
- Help set up registration at Vern Riffe
- Take table, chairs and rope/stanchion to
Survivor Ceremony
- Move trash and recycling cans
- Set up finish line banners
- Move 10 bike racks from finish line
- Load registration truck with generators and
water stop materials
The team will be feed pizza and pop and plan on returning back to Buckeye Valley HS by 9pm.
All players are under 18 must have the volunteer
waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian to participate.
