| The League was informed last evening by the Mansfield Cubs Junior team of their withdrawal from the OBA eliminations this weekend in Midland. The uncertainly in player numbers for the OBA playoff tournament was the main cause for the decision.
Therefore, the elimination games scheduled this weekend are no longer needed and the event has been cancelled. The three remaining teams will attend OBA playoffs. Regular season junior awards were to be presented during the event, but will be postponed to a later date.
