| Since no one is tearing up the message board yet, here is a question about the draft. Are the names listed in the "Rosters for 2017" spreadsheet that was sent out listed in the order people were picked? If so, I noticed that all the manager names are listed twice. That suggests that they had to use their spot as a pick. How does that work? What would be the advantage of listing yourself in the third spot instead of the ninth spot for example? Anyone who knows please reply.

| I believe the order of the players on the rosters is the order in which they were drafted. As for the managers, each of their draft slots are pre-determined before the draft. Basically, the managers as a group decide in advance where each of them should be slotted based on various factors such as age, physical ability, do they pitch, etc. It isn't an exact science, but it is an attempt to ensure rosters are as balanced as possible.
