| It is with sadness the executive learned of the death of Mr. Doug Greer of Alliston, who passed away earlier today.
Doug was a long time player and supporter of the league. He played his baseball career with Mansfield and Shelburne teams in the NDBL and Creemore in the former South Simcoe league.
We extend our condolences to his wife Lissa and sons Jeremy and Brad.
A private funeral is to take place. Friends are invited to a reception on September 30 from 1-4 p.m. at the home of Paul and Lynn Greer for refreshments and to share memories of Doug.
