| It was a great weekend of ball played in unbelievable weather. Congratulations to the Arms on an inspiring run to the finals. It was hard enough playing two games in that heat yesterday so taking the long road to the finals deserves a tip of the cap.
All DST vs. Arms games seem to end up being very competitive, well played and loud games. The final was no exception. Thanks for a great game.

Milliken has better ball facilities, but the abundance is less desirable.
Crosby is too small for the big bashers, the environment is better for the entire family.

| Yes, the complication of having to run around it to pick up the 235 foot pop fly/homerun. Crosby can provide a better atmosphere for the playoffs, but only if people show up to watch the games.
As was mentioned earlier, the Milliken diamonds provides a more challenging overall game, but does not have the coziness of Crosby. So the debate goes on....

I say that as a good thing. But realistically, there's nothing about the 2018's that stun you and wow you from 2015-2017 editions.
I loved my 17 EST Bal and I love my 18 Dedonatis. There was no miraculous change or wow factor except perhaps a different better feel for me in those.

| When the sun came out this afternoon.......I'm dreaming of hot summers nights on the ball field surrounded by friends. Cant wait to get back to the park.

| Lights flickering sporadically and now a massive tree branch has fallen in the back years. Entire road blocked. This is one nasty storm. Hope the fence at Crosby is still up.

| Judging by how many people ignored warnings and drove in their cars today despite a gazillion warnings not to, it suddenly seems plausible a team like Crupi will win it all this year.

| Good idea to start the season playing those early games at Crosby, before we are out of playoff contention.

| I am trying to avoid the “we’d have take this early games at the start of the season” thing, but if you’re feeling down try and imagine how cold the late games will be.

| My philosophy in the early part of the season is I'm not going to shorten it if I'm not going to run it. Instead of looking at things ... It's great to win early games, but it's better to win through a battle and not win an easy victory. I want to win the last game of the year.

| This Slo-Pitch league is truly amazing. What makes this league the envy of all others is that it brings together the competitiveness of sport but never forgets that its number one goal is to provide a friendly environment that not only help foster friendships but also an avenue for all of us to have a enjoyable evening at the park.

| The season begins tonight! What a great way to start the season with this beautiful weather. Have a great season everyone! Also a home game which is a good thing, sticking first after a long layoff is not a good thing.

| If you are a good team—— you don’t need the hammer
If you are challenged team——- you need the final at bat to have a glimmer of hope

| New sponsor, same results. Disappointing start to the season. I think it is too close to the start of the season to make any radical changes for this season. I could be wrong but next season would be more likely IF a more changes are coming.
