| Dave sucks as commissioner, this league is getting worse weekly. The refs are never on the same page nor do they know any of the rules. Dave was supposed to have a meeting with them as expressed at the team reps meeting, which never happened. Rosters were finalized here on the website as stated by Dave on September 17th when they were actually due prior to that which is a separate issue. Maybe its the teams such as the Rams, Texans, and Giants who are buddy buddy with him that get to do whatever they want. As it states in the league rules a team who plays with someone who is not on their roster will forfeit said game. Also in the league rules it states that league commissioner or league officials, (refs) may ask for an I.D of said player who is questioned to not be on the roster. If the player does not give an I.D this also results in a forfeit which happened in a game today. The said player refused to provide an I.D nor is his name on the team roster but because the team rep who's team was caught in the act is friends or maybe more with Dave the team doesn't have to forfeit the game and now our commissioner (Dave) is saying the player is on the team roster. Well Mr. Commissioner you were the one who wrote on September 17th that rosters here on the website were updated and finalized. For all team reps/ players reading this, a couple teams here in this league will be forming our own league next year so for more information you can respond to me here. Thanks!

| While I don't always agree with Dave...
Maybe you should focus on football techniques and schemes... making your players better...
Playing the victim and not getting better is a surefire way to continue to suck.
I can say first hand I have seen other teams decimated by injuries and have to play with 8-10 guys week in and week out. The option for a few teams this week including ours is to play ironman football and lose or sneak in a guy or two so people aren't fatigued and injured.
There should be an IR rule or some way to handle injuries. But again... noone is bringing in NFL\CFL\AFL stars or even D1 college athletes at the end of the year to try to steal the super bowl...
The good teams don't care who you bring in... winning is a byproduct of comradery, planning, skill and luck.
Seems you are more focused on 'getting screwed' than getting better.
Based on the teams you listed your complaints about I would say you are from the Vikings and are completely miffed that even though you got free wins and needed to win a game or two to make the playoffs you couldn't do it.
Sad, there are some good players on that roster and if you guys could get your shit together you could be a real team.

| Before I respond to any of what you just said I just want to reiterate these couple rules as posted on this website under league rules. Rules 3.7-4.2 state everything with what you just said to be against league rules. And secondly I totally agree about an IR rule or something, we had one of if not our best player who is a receiver play this past game with a dislocated finger all game due to lack of guys and what not, but again everything in the league rules state a player who is not on your roster who plays on your team will result in a forfeight does it or does it not say that?

| I was made aware of this post earlier today and although I do not respond to "NAMELESS POSTS" I will inform those not aware of the incident from yesturday's game between the Texans and Vikings....
The Texans beat the Vikings 42 -6 and during the game the Vikings filed a protest that the Texans were using an ineligable player The Vikings team rep contacted me and I did my due diligence ( AS STATED IN THE RULES)
I looked at the text the texans sent to me, and the player in question WAS ON THE OFFICAIL ROSTER.
All team sent to me their rosters by text or email and durin the process of putting them in to the website, some names were omitted and for that I take responsibility. However the teams did inform me of the omissions and the corrections made.
I then forwarded the texans official roster to the vikings team rep that shows the player on it And denied the protest. And the matter closed.
Then the above post was put up and I contacted the Vikings team rep to ask why this ?? After the reseaerch was done ( AS THE RULE STATES ) and the matter was closed.
He claims he did not post this and none of the Vikings players are taking accountability.
In closing. If your gonna accuse me of not following proceedure and not caring about the process or rules at least be accurate. I looks as if this NAMELESS POSTER is upset at the decision but covers that up by making false and baseless accustiona towards me under a FAKE NAME.,,.....weak.
PS...In my 20 years as commissioner I have had many disagreements with almost all the teams....weather it was KJ Walsh ( RAMS), Josean Sanchez ( Patriots), Marvin ( EAGLES), Shawn Kelley ( Giants), Branden Guidi ( BEARS), Omar ( Panthers), or Jeremy Rivers ( Texans).
The difference with these gentlemen is they come to me face to face and not hide behind a FAKE NAME. and for that I respect them 100%. And I think they respect me too.

| Just want to respond to what ou have previously said Dave as it states in the league rule book, rosters are to be submitted no later than the 3rd week of the regular season. Am I right or wrong about that? And you had sent out a text to team reps during week 4 of the regular season stating that some teams still had not had their rosters in yet, again am I wrong or right about that? And on September 17th which was week 4 of the season you had posted In this chat section that the website was finally updated and contained current roster. Again am I wrong or right about that? Which then concluded my arguement that the player was not on the roster or they would have been placed on the teams roster when you had updated everyone’s roster on September 17th which in fact was a week late anyways. And lastly I would just like to say you have people on here admitting to breaking your league rules that you and team reps have put together by stating they sneak players into their team and other teams do as well. So let me ask you what are you going to do about that?..... Probably nothing!!! This league is a joke, why have rules if they aren’t enforced nor followed?

| This guy has way to much time on his hands reading and citing all the rules in book.. play the game, try and win the game and move on. If you cant win one year... improve and come back the next year and win some games. If the only way you can get a win is by forfeit after years and years of losing every week maybe you should start you own league that might be a little easier for you. You guys have talent but can't get your shit together. Stop worrying about players on other teams roster and focus on how you can win a game.
Personally i don't care if someone shows up that's not on the roster if it means we get to play football rather than them forfeiting... as long as its not the playoffs and they bring a bunch of guys that haven't showed up all yr and aren't on roster.
ps i miss the fun shit talking on this website... i think dave needs to get that back somehow

| Does anyone really understand how much time and effort is put into the PVTFL? Dave has been commissioner for many many years and he does this on his own time. He doesn't get paid for this. He's no longer playing but he is still doing everything he can to run the league and keep it going. If you guys don't appreciate what he does year in and year out, then leave. Go to a different league or good luck starting your own.
I've played in many different leagues with many different commissioners and Dave does a phenomenal job. I have had many disagreements with him over the years, but our league is what it is and has been around for over 30years because of him!
You want to address the rules infraction, Dave gave you his response. The problem is that the website hasn't been updated with some changes that teams made prior to the deadline. So basically the official rosters are with Dave and not necessarily on the website. That's on him 100%.
