Misinformation resulted in an erroneous report today that Bill Kingan had passed away. I am happy to report that Bill is alive and well at his home in Butler, Penn. He told me by phone Friday afternoonn that he and his wife Marge expect to be here the first week in December.
Someone got the obituary notice of Harold Blysma's death that was posted in the dugout of Field #1, confused with Bill Kingan.
On another topic, one of my bats was missing from Field#3 when the game was over Friday. It is a black Miken, 34 ounce with my name, J. Michael Richmond, on an address label on the handle. It had been with other bats along the backstop fence.
Please check your bats in case you picked it up by mistake.
