| My wife and I drove to Jupiter Community Park Friday morning to try and watch a game in the Wood Bat Tournament that has taken over the fields. Imagine my surprise when we arrived about 9:45 a.m. to find both the parking lot and four ball fields vacant. No players and not a single car except mine. Two groundskeepers who I talked to said the games begin about 6 p.m.
Tjhey said the reason the senior softball league could not use the fields during the day when the fields are vacant, is because they installed l pitching mounds on the fields for the wood bat tournament. Still, I am very disappointed that one or two of the fields could not be available for our games during the day.
