| The opening day off the 2018 Winter League Friday will be celebrated with a traditional throwing out of the ceremonial first pitch. The event will be at Field # 3 after the conclusion of the first games. The JSSA board selected two long-time players, Vinnie Lombardo and Dave Summers, for the first pitch ceremony. Both have been sidelined in recent months while recovering from health/medical issues and it is fitting that they help launch this year's Winter League. We hope all can attend.
