| A visit to the ball park Wednesday by Dave Platz was a real treat for all who remember him as a genial, fun-loving team mate. Dave, 82, had to stop playing four or five years ago and he has been missed. There were always plenty of laughs in the dugout when Dave was there, whether tales of his many fishing exploits or other adventures. And up until the end of his final game he could be counted on for hits when he came to the plate. It was good seeing you again Dave and please come back. .
