| Just heard of the passing of former NDBLer Steve Cunningham. There will be a C.O.L. at the Alliston Legion Sat. Nov. 17th, I thinks 1-4pm. Anyone who knew Cutter, will remember him for his sense of humour as well as his talent. He was always a feared hitter and a tough pitcher. One of his traits while holding a runner on at first, was to peer over at first by looking through his armpit, funny as hell, but it worked. Steve was always in contention for the MVP. He played for Everett, Lisle and Mansfield, and was always picked up for OBA's. He also played in the South Simcoe Sr. league with Alliston and Ivy. He was one of the funniest guys I ever met, and always entertained opposing teams with his endless array of jokes after the games. He had been up in Hunstville for the last while , so most of us hadn't seen him in a while, but we will all miss his tenacity on the diamond, and the fun after the games. R.I.P. "Old Dog" and I hope there's "A Hit, Walk and a Yahoo" in the big game upstairs for you. Gordie
