Subject: B -1 and B -2 Division Split
When I joined the JSSA in 2000, the primary goal, other than not getting hurt was to have fun. Yesterday on field 3 it was not fun for me. By separating the better players from the “not so good” players, the mental and physical errors were multiplied. Also, the confusion forgetting when to bat, the waiting to get runners made for a long and boring game. I was not in favor of this idea to begin with, but wanted to wait to see how it would work out.
By having 2 or 3 “not so good” players on a team as it was before, and in not too critical positions, their effect would not be that much of an impact.
In addition, even if I were placed in the B – 1 Division, the separation of players between the 2 divisions, deprives me and other players of personal interaction with half the others in the league.
For the 2018 – 2019 winter league, please remove me from the active roster list and put me on the substitute list. I will advise the proper personnel when I wish to be considered for substitute play.
