| Gentleman,
Another year is upon us and our league is 4 months out from commencement. Exciting stuff.
In the interest of transparency, the executive held its first meeting of 2019 last night, where we discuss all issues pertaining to the maintenance and improvement of our league and issues pertaining to our members.
While the AGM is the main opportunity that our members have to bring up any issues or questions they may have, I have started this thread as a platform for people to bring their ideas, questions or concerns to light.
Many of you attend the AGM and thus understand the process of an open forum, yet there are those who chose not to attend and would rather anonymously complain or ask questions and wonder why they are not taken seriously.
So, what I propose is simple:
If you have an idea, issue, topic or change you would like the USPL executive to consider, ask the question on this thread.
One catch - you must use your real name and your team on your post. Any anonymous questions will not be answered.
We know that many people would like an avenue to ask questions without being ridiculed, so hopefully, our membership will be mature enough to respect each other.
The goal is to stimulate some constructive conversation that will benefit our league in the immediate and in the future.
Let's see what we come up with.

| Hey NetMan - based on your looking at 1.26 pitches, every time at bat, you should look at a few more pitches. You may not pop out as much.

| I can’t wait for the season to start. As a kid, it's seemed meaningless. Now that I'm really old, when we shake hands after the game, you actually congratulate players on good plays they made. I get in trouble sometimes for complementing my opponents for good plays and great hits during the game.

| I used to feel SO uncomfortable and out of place complementing an opponent on a great play or hit. I still do! I know it’s a first world problem. I know it’s ridiculous. But I never feel my teammates will forgive me.

| Envy or jealousy plays a major role in players being intimidated to give a compliment after viewing a outstanding play.
