| DERON MOORES: Deron Moores is one of the classiest Hantsport Shamrocks to ever wear Shammie green in the past decade. Deron was one of the most feared hitters in a very potent Shamrock lineup. He led the team in batting average for several years. He was the batter who came through time after time with runners in scoring position. When playoffs rolled around Deron was usually at the top of the list in Runs Batted In - a real clutch hitter. A perennial gold glove at first base he made playing the position look easy and he set the gold standard for all players to follow. Deron Moores , welcome to the Nova Scotia Intermediate Baseball League's Hall of Fame as a player.
ROBBIE LEBLANC: Robbie LeBlanc had a vision about Intermediate men's baseball in Yarmouth and worked diligently to see that it would happen. He recruited players, raised money, coached the team and played stellar outfield defense. Robbie is a classy individual with a strong work ethic. Without Robbie it is doubtful that there would be an Intermediate team in Yarmouth. As well he orchestrated an eight team Nova Scotia Intermediate AAA Baseball Championship that was extremely well run. Robbie LeBlanc, welcome to the Nova Scotia Intermediate Baseball League's Hall of Fame as a builder.
CORY HIGGINS: Cory Higgins was a slick fielding shortstop who knew all the plays and made them. He was usually in the top five percent in the League in batting average. Cory was an intense competitor who was a leader on the field and in the early years - "as Cory went the Gateways went". For several years now, Cory has been the League webmaster keeping track of standings, games played and statistics. He brings that same intensity to this position as he sometimes has to track down information. Cory Higgins, welcome to the Nova Scotia Intermediate Baseball League's Hall of Fame as both a player and a builder.
