| I noticed that association directors are able to make ejections during the games. I would think this should be left up to umpires.
Allowing directors to enter into disputes can cause a MAJOR conflict of interest and has caused incidents to be magnified this last year. A board member is either a player or spectator and should not be an arbiter DURING a game.
It should be the responsibility of Umpires for ejections and then going to the board to review for additional measure if appropriate.

| I believe you make a very valid point.

| Sounds like a no brainer, but the conflict of interest argument doesn’t seem to apply to this board.

| John I agree with your comments . A Board member should resist injecting himself into any onfield conflict unless the issue has escalated to such a level that it becomes impossible not to take action on behalf of the league. At that point I would hope that other players would step in as well to lower the temperature. As you know, Any incident is always review able after the game for decisions regarding violations to the COC.
