| Guys, so much for the 2020 season. With all the bad stuff that is happening, the cancellation of the games was VERY upsetting to the Greek. Hate to say it, but I actually love being part of the gang that I have known a long time while getting to meet the new guys. I had a bad feeling that the retirement of Commissioner Brian wouldn’t end well, especially when I heard that the Three Stooges (Boyle, Wong and the Persian) were taking over. Bad Juju. Well, we will get thru this I am sure and maybe we can find a silver lining or two in this disaster. For my part, I bought an outdoor basketball that I will use to reawaken my latent high skills level and physical prowess! I intend to make a SECOND COMEBACK! Once after a hip replacement in 2011, and once in 2021! For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Greek’s incredible League career, let it be said that the Greek is the ONLY LEAGUE PLAYER to make a triple double in a game back in 2015, as recorded by League scribes, Pat “Maniac” Thoroughbred and Richie “The Rat” Mitola. Ten or more turnovers, total defensive failures and missed shots.
The journey starts now. We will play again. We will get through this. My best to all you guys. See you around town.
