| Lake Worth, Okeeheelee, Boca and Delray are all playing.
I took time to go to Lake Worth on Sunday and talk to their commissioner (who is a friend), and the players. That league has people from al other leagues in our area, so it gave a great source of information of what everyone is doing. (I would encourage our board to do the same.)
Restriction were VERY minimal. No masks required, stay apart from each other, no big deal about sanitizer. Full games with 12-13 on a team.
Delray AND Lake Worth were taking everyone's temperature before they played. High temp = no play. I took pictures of the play and it really looks "normal".
I think the board has to quit taking no for the easy answer or we just go out and play as individuals not as JSSA. (like some of our board is doing in Tequesta playing 5/5.) We are adults and can make up our own minds as to the risk we are willing to take. (Especially since Jupiter is allowing the young kids to play as of last night.IN JUPITER others are playing and being allowed on those EXACT fields by the town)
I received phone calls from our buddies up north in New Jersey. The state is substantially more locked down than here BUT they are playing
(But of course this will be dismissed because its coming from me)
