| Its been a long few months of waiting, I really appreciate all the work done by the guys that organized the league. Thankfully I came back home last night with a huge smile on my face.

| For those players who are set up in the batter’s box standing stiff as a board like you’re trying out for Michael Bolton’s Slowpitch Travel Softball Team, my advice, STOP! You’re set up to swing one way - uphill, pull only, grooved with zero adjustability. It was fun to view these batters.

| A season opener. A home opener. Months without sports. Beautiful August weather (last week), Finally we played ball on the diamond once again. What else could you ask for? A win? | I will state that talent will only get a team so far. This is because team members who aren't on the same page as the rest of the team or only focus on their own success can cause internal conflict. However, when there is good team chemistry, individuals work together to advance the team's goals leading to a higher chance of team success.

| Still can't believe it's September this terrible year has literally flew by. I'm not a fan of the summer really I love September-Dec though, let's hope the next few months we have left of 2020 treat us kind because this has officially been the worst year of all of the world's lives. It’s important for us to be aware of our potential and let this inspire our self-confidence. To take a 0-2 pitch and drive it opo for a hit, just because it was way outside is an incredible positive feeling.

| When we resume games, remember this. We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box. Everyone is welcomed back!
