| Last night’s official word that the game was going to be cancelled did not come as welcome news to most of the players. But, as the details trickled out, it became abundantly clear that the umpire wanted to go home.
We were all aware that the season was going to be a very different beast than anything else we have seen in the past. I understand that the other games were played. The decision was clearly wrong.

| What's bizarre about this subject is that having an opinion on if we should have played was never given. It's baseball in the rain, guys. It's a game. We're supposed to have fun debating the merits, the what ifs, the should have, could haves.

| Let's change the narrative here.
This was our first year playing in this amazing league and we lost by one run in the final. We still walked away with huge smiles on our faces.
You guys are blessed to play in such a classy league. The Crosby pitch was the best.

| I am a very forgiving person...it's part of who I am, I believe it's good for my mental health, it's often the kind thing to do, I need to change teams, my team rep did not inform me that we could have played this year.

| I'm happy to have we had the chance to play. We only had a short time together, things ran smoothly. I really appreciate the willingness of the league to arrange some games for us. It's that kind of flexibility and dedication that will help this league grow to its full potential.

| Much of the league players are upset with the use of the word champion.
They realize that a number of players had opted out. There’s no denying the huge impact the pandemic had on the postseason landscape.
With four teams in every division, the playoffs were tainted enough to produce the level of competition we’ve grown accustomed to.
An asterisk is meant to acknowledge what is deemed a unique and therefore unfair advantage one team had over all the others en route to the championship.
Hence 2020 will be a ****** season.
