| From covid to checking in on family, or scheduling time to watch Netflix, it’s easy to get caught up in crossing things off our very long to-do lists every day. Instead, today I would like to suggest something refreshingly different for your recreational ball strategy in these challenging times — make a to-don’t list.
Things to include in your to-don’t list:
Don’t make rash changes to your swing without consultation
Don’t obsessively follow this forum for bat tips
Don’t focus on short-term outs
Don’t forget your long-term goal is to be a champion of this league.

| Last summer took the wrapper of my 27oz Louisville slugger genesis. First, 5 hits were okay put some muscle into to next few shots, omg the ball took off and the sound it made. I was skeptical thinking it was hype. But it's got some spank to it. The soft 52 core balls felt like I was hitting gold dots. I have a well broken in measuring stick, my og blue EST. 1500 hits on it. The genesis was rolling past it by 15 ft on 20 hits. Gonna be a bomb dropper at 100 hits. Just my 2 bits

| One of the greatest joys playing baseball is taking into account everything: previous at bats, your pitcher's tendencies, etc when positioning yourself defensively and being correct. On slo pitch you can even move mid pitch base on batter's movements!

SPN Rule 2 Sect. 1 sub section F indicates "nothing allowed on warm up bats such as a do-nut".
Doesn't mean you can't sneak a couple of glazed Timmy's in there.

| The type or make of the bat does not matter. Hard ground balls through the hole is what I believe. I like to conclude from the eye test and not from analytics. The main thing is keeping the elbow up and throwing your hands at the ball. Creates some real backspin.
