We are happy to inform you that the allocations department has now re-opened for booking requests. The City of Markham would like to thank you for your flexibility, patience and understanding during our temporary pause to services while navigating these challenging times.
The City of Markham is planning to open our outdoor sports fields for the 2021 season from May 8th to October 31st. Restrictions will continue to remain in place and your adherence to your sports Return to Play Protocols, Provincial Legislation, and City requirements will allow us to continue maintaining the health and safety of our community.
As part of our responsible and measured approach to reopening, we will currently be focused solely on booking regular season requests. Tournament requests will not be accommodated at this time.

| About a year ago I sensed this lockdown would be 4 a few months, what I didn't know is that a year later we would be locked down and not getting ready to play ball. We are barely holding on and that the last stretch would be by far the hardest.

| Thanks Blumpy (trust you are keeping well). I certainly agree with your comment on where Canada is in the vaccination rankings. They happen to be 38th in the world. Imagine 38th (that’s even worse than where the Raptors are).
That’s thanks to the love everyone, don’t upset anyone Liberals. If Trudeau had the balls he would tell those manufacturers who are nor providing, as per their agreements, to F___ OFF. If they don’t deliver forget selling their products in Canada.
