Orange Crush Baseball is excited to welcome Coach Jeff Ontiveros to our organization. Coach Ontiveros, born and raised in the Central Texas Area, graduated from Round Rock High School in 1998. Most known for his many records and achievements while playing for the University of Texas from 1998-2002, where he was a member of the well renowned 2002 CWS Team. Coach Ontiveros finished his outstanding college career as the school's all-time leader in games played, home runs (single season & career), extra-base hits, total bases and hit by pitches.
He went on to be drafted becoming a member of the Boston Red Sox organization for the next 5 years with a cumulative .242 BA, before returning to Central Texas in 2006. At that time deciding to give back to his community as it gave so much to him, Coach Ontiveros has worked the last 15 years coaching the youth in central Texas, ages 8-16. In that time he has put together multiple championship teams that have competed all over the State of Texas, Georgia and Alabama. Coach Ontiveros’ main philosophy is and has always been to develop players as great young men, while preparing them for High School baseball and College.
