| Silver fox, I’ve watched your comments over the years and I rarely respond to this forum but your comments never add any value.
There’s no Astrix to either champions this year. Both divisions had great teams in them and in the open division, I would say it was better baseball then most years. I’ve played in this league for 14 years and it was great to even play this year during a pandemic. The fact we had a playoff was great and it was the same format we had many years ago.
Maybe the astrix should be on your name so when we read your comments, we know not to take them seriously.

| November is typically a month when the team management starts looking forward to the next season. We're approaching winter and the holiday season when thoughts about slowpitch is normally at their lowest. So, before the snow flies, tell me, which do you prefer: avalanche or snowball? Both are tried-and-true approaches to enhancing your team. The difference between the two is the order in which you see results. The avalanche method starts at the top when you decide to move on from your two weakest players. Over time, you'll see fast results, but it takes creativity to get there. The snowball method targets the average players first, and although it's more takes more time, in the long run, it yields quicker immediate positive results, because the weaker players decide to move on themselves. Which is best for you?

| For some reason, a few months ago when I first heard that Cariney had won, it resonated with me on a very deep level. It wasn't just tears of joy OR sadness that the story erupted within me...it was more like a cleansing, a remembering. I don't know where it came from but I knew I had changed in some way that day. They tried for years to hoist the cup and they finally did it. We should all be inspired by the journey they took. Congratulations.

| It's this strange dichotomy that some boys have in their head that any changes or creative solutions does not qualify as real champions. And that the double headers has to be maliciously dangerous to be repeated. The league can be both competitive, fundamentals, and fun. To the 2021 champions, congratulations.
