| VA Huskies Showcase Team16-18U
The Virginia Huskies Showcase team are hosting tryouts for roster openings for our 2022 Fall and 2023 Summer showcase squad. Tryout sessions will be Thursday July 28 and Tuesday August 16 at LC Bird High School ( 10301 Courthouse Rd Chesterfield, VA 23832).
The VA Huskies are the Flagship team for The Backyard Baseball Lab (https://backyardbaseballlab.com/ ) Our unique approach mixes development and exposure. The Lab handles a full scale development program (lifting, nutrition, arm care, velo, athletic movements, winter training program with a focus on offensive production, video and video breakdown) and the Huskies handle the practice and showcasing.
We formulate our schedule to maximize exposure directly to college coaches and to minimize the financial impact on families.
We want dedicated, highly motivated players, that fit our culture. We want families that buy into our program and trust our process.
The Huskies are based out of Richmond, VA, but showcase and draw from the mid Atlantic region. We have remote training plans and pricing available.
Tryouts are open, meaning we will fill our roster with impact players as we see fit, but we are looking for the following positions:
2 Catchers (must have a secondary position)
1 corner infielder
2 outfielders
4 pitchers
Gap year 2022s, 2023s, 2024s, and high performing 2025s are welcome to attend our pro style tryout with laser timed 60, trackman for throws and exit velo.
