| Maloney's Big Chef Doran a bit of a disappointment so far this year (18PPG) and an abysmal 10-29 from the stripe. Meanwhile Coughlin, (who I have zero idea about the young man) is at 16.7PPG. Is he a guard? Speaking of which, Maloney, at a pedestrian 10.5PPG while actually shooting from the stripe at a WORSE percentage than Doran?!?! That's about it. Hoagland had one big game. The rest? Nada. Meanwhile, Phelan (if he shows) has also struggled with points, but they are balanced........... Lendach/Myers/Moore/Phelan and The Shark all at 9PPG or better. They too struggle at the stripe shooting .571. Bottom line? Who knows? The Greek THINKS that Phelan can go all the way, but haven't shown much so far. Phelan by 4.

| While the Oracle agrees with the Dotard Greek, I have a better name for "Chef" Doran. How about Choker Doran? From the FT line certainly and at 18 points, he's no number one pick in the All Seeing Oracle's book.......

| After a tight first half, Phelan drubbed a Chef-less Maloney squad....... How can a number one pick miss games like this? Frankly, while he would have made it closer, he wouldn't have changed the outcome. Phelan is a top player and he's got a supporting cast.

| Agreed Greek but different Generation its 2024... Big Joe Mcgarvey and Jimmy Keane (years spent as #1 picks and champs) would never leave their squad for weeks to go party and hit the Vegas strip. Chef needs to go back to coffee and donuts and let someone else step up as a solid #1. Talent and size is there but hearts not in the game...

| Bob, it’s a sad commentary, but you are likely correct. Fire in the belly counts. Even at this level.
