Hard to believe the regular season upon us, but it tis. To the matchups....

Conover v Finns: I don't have the injury report on Phil C, so that makes things rather cloudy from here. However, since Phil is "in" either way, I don't see them possibly having their star scorer hurt further. Meanwhile, Barr and Finnegan will be desperate for a win. I will go with desperation. By six.

Phelan v Maloney: First time these guys saw each other, Maloney at full strength while Phelan DNP. Maloney romped. Doran and Co up against it and desperate. Phelan does NOT like to lose, but again, I will go with desperation AND humiliation which Big Boy had a dose of Tuesday. I would not want to guard him tonight. By 4.

Lastly, Raff v Seuffert: Raff last out had a big time win with Rishty/Jenks and Hosseini playing huge against Maloney. Seuffert/Klein have been excellent this year, but......... Again, will go with desperation. By 3

Greek - need to check your stats. Maybe your so busy selling steel down in Texas or maybe you took the day off and hit the bottle early today but Maloney did not beat Phelan. Nor did they romp them. Nor did Phelan not play that gameā€¦. Have a second look at that one.

Ted, you are absolutely correct.......... Seuffert beat Phelan. AGE is setting in along with dementia........ Sad. Anyways, I do think the teams that are desperate will prevail tonight. We shall see and thanks for setting the record straight!!

Doran didn't show up. Wow. Maybe he was really sick or broke something, or had a family emergency. I hope if that is the case, that all is well now. Not knowing anything, all I can say is that if he had showed up for one extra game, his team would be in the playoffs. He missed four games. A number one pick can't miss four games. Too bad.
